When writer Mel Hopkins requested an interview for an article she wanted to write on an indie filmmaker’s interest in Cryptocurrency and the life of risk, I thought let’s do it. Did I also mention she had the idea to pitch it to Ebony Magazine as well? News that I was in the September issue of “The Ebony” was exciting enough. It was true joy to see the smiles of family, friends and strangers, congratulating me for being recognized by such an institution. It was quite fun. My grandparents in East St. Louis would’ve loved it had they been alive to see it. I’m sure they’re celebrating with us in spirit. Thanks again, Mel!
