For Women's History Month I received a master class when interviewing the tenacious filmmaking pioneer Christene A. Browne of Toronto. Browne's film, Another Planet (1999), is the first dramatic feature to be directed by a Black woman in Canada. Her thirty-year career is only a few years beyond mine, but there was plenty for me to learn from this groundbreaking storyteller.
